Paddle Pals is Body Glove’s learn-to-swim life vest collection for young children, created to help make early experiences in the water safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable. The line builds on Body Glove’s long history in watersports, which dates back to 1953 when founders Bill and Bob Meistrell developed the first practical wetsuit.

At the center of the Paddle Pals design is a patented life jacket system with attached arm bands that provides flotation support while allowing children to move naturally in the water. Current models are U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada approved for children weighing approximately 33 to 55 pounds, making them suitable for recreational boating as well as pools, lakes, and beaches.

Safety-focused details include a shoulder harness designed to help keep the vest securely positioned and an adjustable rear buckle that young children cannot easily remove without assistance.
